Carmen J. Austinson

Carmen J. Austinson, age 79 of Amery, WI formerly of Clear Lake, WI, died on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Amery Memory Care where she had been a resident since September of 2022. 

Carmen Janet Austinson was born on May 12, 1944 in Clayton, WI  the daughter of Edward & Grace (Paulson) Austinson.  She grew up in the Clayton-Clear Lake area and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1962.  Over the years, Carmen worked various jobs, including employment at Franklin Signal and Johnson Garment in Clear Lake and at MPP in Osceola before retiring in 2009.  In her spare time she enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores and spending time with her sister Beverly and close friends.  

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward & Grace Austinson; & sister Beverly Raymond.

There will be a Visitation/Celebration of Carmen’s life on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 4  -  7  pm at the

Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI

A private interment will be on Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Clayton, WI

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations for Alzheimer's research with checks to be made out to
