Brett D. Catts

Brett D. Catts,  age 50 of Deer Park, WI,  died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 25, 2023. 

Brett Daniel Catts was born on May 26, 1973 in Manassas, VA  the son of Michael & Dorothy “June” (Chalkley) Catts.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Warrenton, VA, grew up in Catlett, VA and graduated from Fauquier High School in 1991.    After graduating, Brett moved to Clear Lake, WI to work on the Maybach farm.  He made his home in Deer Park, WI, was married to Renee Bliese on August 27, 1994 and together they had four children, Travis, Kevin, Korey and Nichole.   They later divorced.  Brett began working as a laborer for  Q3 Contracting and quickly made his way up to general manager.  In 2018, he began working for ECI Contracting as a    general manager for underground natural gas pipelines.  Brett loved his job, fishing, riding side by side and hanging out with friends.  He was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Amery, WI and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.  Brett always told his kids “live life to the fullest and find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life”

Brett is proceeded in death by his infant son,  Travis Catts;   parents Michael &  Dorothy “June” Catts

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Amery, WI

Visitation at the Church on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 4  -  8pm and one hour before the service on Tuesday.

Burial will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery in Clear Lake, WI
