Beverly M. Pittman

Beverly M. Pittman, age 86, formerly of Star Prairie, WI died on July 19, 2018 at the Golden Age Manor Care Center in Amery, WI.

Beverly Mary Pittman was born on June 28, 1932 in Clear Lake, WI, the daughter of Leslie & Ethel (Johnson) Christison.   She was baptized at First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI  and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1950.   Bev was married to John E. Pittman, on February 14, 1953 in St. Paul, MN, where they made their home and raised 5 children, Eileen, Marlene, Jean, John, & Robert.  In 1963 they moved their family to Afton, MN and eventually settled near Connorsville, WI in 1974.  Shortly after John’s death in 1979, Bev moved to New Richmond, WI and worked for many years at the St. Croix Healthcare Center as a dietary supervisor.  She retired from there in 1994.  Bev loved baking, cooking, gardening and canning, and was known for her delicious bread and pickles.  She also enjoyed listening to Country Western music and with her school friends, planned and attended numerous class reunions over the years.  Bev also volunteered and worked with the handicapped through Community Education in the New Richmond area.  She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.  

Bev was preceded in death by her husband, John Pittman;  daughter, Marlene Roepke;  
parents, Leslie & Ethel Christison; son in law, Randolph Leckel; & sister in law, Myrna Christison.

Funeral Service at the First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake,  WI
on Tuesday, July 24, 2018  at 11 A.M.

Visitation on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 5 - 8 pm at the Scheuermann-Hammer Funeral Home
and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday
