Allan Lee Obituary
Allan H. Lee, age 88 of Clear Lake, WI, Elizabeth, CO, and Naples, FL, died on Sunday, February 9, 2014, peacefully in Naples, Florida.
Allan Helmer Lee was born on the family farm in Clear Lake Township on April 8, 1925, the son of Gust & Hilda (Oman) Lee. He grew up in Clear Lake, was baptized and confirmed at Moe Lutheran Church, and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1943. Allan was married to Victoria Spurlock on October 6, 1951 in New Richmond, WI. Their union of 57 years was blessed with five children.
Allan was a longtime businessman in the Barron community operating Barron Implement for over 30 years. Throughout his life he enjoyed horses, gardening, traveling, reading, keeping up with current events and most importantly, and spending time with his family and friends, who will miss his advice and love. He spent his past years with his friend, love, and constant companion, Marion Anderson.
Surviving in addition to his devoted friend, Marion, are daughters, Brenda (Tony) Mazzuca of Elizabeth, CO, Sue (Mike) Ebner of Elizabeth, CO, and Pamela (Jeff) Weeks of Buffalo, MN; sons, David (Tami) of Colfax and Michael (Leigh) of Mundelein, IL; grandchildren, Trevor Engel of Elizabeth, CO, Michelle Erickson of Castle Rock, CO, Tammy Harvey of Staples, MN, Adam Ebner of Littleton, CO, Jennifer Ebner of Denver, CO, Nick Weeks of Buffalo, MN, Abbie Lee of Colfax, Austin Lee of Colfax and Elizabeth Weeks of Buffalo, MN; and six great-grandchildren-Raegan, Cooper, Liam, Keegan, Jamison and Maddock.
Preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Lee; parents, Gust & Hilda Lee; brothers, Ole & Gilbert Lee; sisters, Alma Larson, Gertrude Pierson & Myrtle Spurlock.
Celebration/Visitation
Please join us in Al’s celebration/visitation. Wednesday Night, February 19th from 6 pm to 8:30 pm at Lucky’s Restaurant, 458 3rd Avenue, Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Food and beverages will be served.
Memorial Service
Thursday, February 20, 2014, 11 AM, at the Moe Lutheran, Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Lunch will be served after the Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lifeline Food Pantry, 560 5th Street, Clear Lake, WI, 715-263-3846. Allan and his family would be honored if donations were made in his name.
