Adeline R. Donath

Adeline R.  Donath age 88 of Clear Lake, WI died on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Our House Senior Living in River Falls, WI where she had been a resident for the past 6 months.

Adeline Rose Donath was born with her twin sister Angeline on February 25, 1928 in Goltry, OK, the daughter of Alexander & Eva (Milacek) Bauer. She grew up in Oklahoma and Wisconsin and attended school at Cumberland area schools.  Adeline worked at the bakery in Amery, WI where she met her future husband Fred Donath.    On April 7, 1947 they were married at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Clayton,  WI  and together they made their home in the Clear Lake/Clayton area where they raised four children, Frederick, Jr., Michael, Ronald, & Debra.  In addition to raising her family, Adeline worked for many years at Fabri-Tek in Amery and also at the JEM Store in Clear Lake.   She taught Bible school at churches in Clear Lake and Clayton and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church.       Adeline loved to grow flowers in her gardens and crochet.  Her favorite activity was baking cookies with her grandchildren.   She will be sorely missed by her family and many friends.  

She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Donath; her sons, Fred, Jr, & Michael;  
her parents, Alexander & Eva Bauer;  brothers, Alex Bauer, Leonard Bauer, John Bauer,  & Valentine Bauer; sisters, Eva DaBruzzi, Clara Bowers, Angeline Leslie, & Elizabeth Rosenbush.

Funeral Services at  Grace Lutheran Church  in  Clear Lake, WI  on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am

Visitation on Friday March 11, 2016 from 4 - 7pm at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in
Clear Lake, WI  and one hour before the service at Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday.
