No words can express my heart felt sorrow. Derek was a fine young man with two beautiful daughters. He grew up in a loving home. He will always be remembered as my fishing buddy, my 4 wheeler friend, my GRANDSON.
RIP Derek, Grandpa Dorwin

There are no words for such a loss. The show of sympathy and support at his memorial service are a true tribute to the kind of young man Derek was. It appears he touched very many in ways we cannot imagine. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, his family and friends.
