Daisie Ann (Dietrich) Hose, age 90 years, passed from this life on March 22, 2018 in Amery WI.  Daisie was a resident of Clear Lake most of her life until moving to Amery assisted living and then the nursing home in 2006.

Daisie was born in Mapleton, MN on March 20, 1928 to William Dietrich and Addie Mae (Reese) Dietrich.  She had one sister Rose Nejedly and two brother’s Robert Dietrich and William Dietrich, all of whom preceded her in death.  Daisie moved to Clear Lake as a young girl and lived on a farm.  She graduated from Clear Lake schools attending all 13 grades there.  She worked at Stokley’s in New Richmond for a short time after graduation.  She met and married Helmer Everett Hose of  Forest on June 5, 1946.  They were married 50 years.  Together they had three children, Linda (Wilfred) Owens of Frederic WI., Gregory Hose of Clear Lake, WI, and Jeffrey (Barbara) Hose of Sapulpa, OK while farming until retirement.

Daisie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.  She was active in the ladies aid and the choir.  She was a charter member of the VFW in Clear Lake.  Daisie sold poppies every year for Memorial Day.  She was a 4-H leader for many years.  She enjoyed her flower garden especially, but also grew a big vegetable garden.

Daisie was preceded in death by her husband, Helmer.  She is survived by her children and 7 grandchildren, Steven Owens, Douglas Owens, Nathan (Stacy) Hose, Melody (Tim) Skelly, Darren (Kristy) Hose, Andrea (Nathan) Huffstetler, and Megan (Aaron) Zaitshik, two sisters-in-law, Ruth Michaelson and Mary Ann Dietrich, as well as 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Daisie will be held Saturday April 14, at 11 AM with a lunch to follow, at Grace Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, WI.  To leave online condolences for the family, visit www.clearlakefuneralhome.com
